HonorHealth adopts Bainbridge Health’s Med O.S.® Platform to Improve the Utilization of Infusion Pump Data
HonorHealth is partnering with Bainbridge Health to better utilize infusion data to improve patient safety, reduce medication waste and scale scarce clinical resources.
Philadelphia, PA 2022: Bainbridge Health, a leading provider of infusion pump data management services, is excited to partner with HonorHealth. HonorHealth is a leading health system in Arizona with 6 hospitals and 70 primary and specialty care clinics. Through the agreement, Bainbridge Health will provide the Arizona-based health system with its Med O.S.® Platform and Clinical Solutions, which centralize and analyze infusion data to improve the cost and quality of care.
Medication errors remain a leading cause of patient harm in the hospital setting, with more than 50% of administration errors leading to injury at the administration phase [1]. A recent ISMP survey found that while most clinicians believe the analysis of infusion pump data is important for quality and safety improvement nearly 80% of respondents felt their organizations do not have the time, tools and resources to extract meaningful insights from this data [2].
